Not really a big mistake
Completed the third book of Chetan Bhagat:"the 3 mistakes of my life".Was a good read.Actually better than the previous one but not better than the first one. There are few things common in Chetan Bhagat's novels girls, sex and happy ending.Probably these are the highlights of his novel. The best part is that it gets completed in quick time even by someone like me who is a tortoise when it comes to reading.Few things which I couldnt digest about the story :
1.the entire trail of searching Govind from Singapore to Ahmedabad just on the basis of an email.Even for someone like Chetan(i assume he has tremendous contacts in Ahmedabad after all he is an IIM A alumnus) it would have been very dificult.
2.The heroic efforts of Ishan was over exaggerated.Kind of seen only in hindi movies.
3.Ali's" survival of fittest" incident when a trishul hits his wrist. How on earth a physically weak child can hit two shots back to back on someones temple , when it was already written that his wrist was badly injured. Moreover ,the precision of his shot was impeccable, was also hard to believe.
Overall it was a good passtime, but was not very convincing and below Chetan's standard. :(:(:(
I am sure this novel will also be made into a movie but just hope it doesnt have some stupid, low grade actor ,who only knows to bare his chest at the drop of a hat :):):)
